What is FreeBe?

• FreeBe is a DAO Tool for DAO creation, task management, and on-chain incentive distribution.
• FreeBe aims to solve 2 problems we found in DAO: overloaded and unorganized information in discord channels, especially for beginners, and ineffective incentives for real contributors.

What does FreeBe look like?

• The Homepage of FreeBe is a DAO square, that displays all DAOs created in FreeBe.
• Once logged in, you can click “Create DAO”, fill in your DAO information, and FreeBe will automatically generate a DAO homepage for you. Which includes two functions:
• Basic information about your DAO, eg. account balance, and name of your DAO contributors.
• DAO task panel:

1. there are 3 different roles in FreeBe DAOs:
2. Advocators, who constantly propose new ideas that benefit the organization;
3. Coordinators, who can specify abstract goals into concrete tasks;
4. Producers, who can actually complete tasks and achieve goals.
5. For example,
6. Advocators will propose an objective for the current DAO;
7. Coordinators translate this objective into tasks. They click “Create New Task”, fill in the task name and description, and set up a credit value.
8. Once task is published, anyone logging into FreeBe can volunteer to be the producer and claim this task.
9. The upload task result will be stored on IPFS.
10. Coordinators will again review the submitted results and confirm the task to be completed.
11. Once confirmed, the credits will be automatically sent to producers and recorded on the blockchain.
12. Members can view their DAO credits earned on their profile page.

How FreeBe steps to the next stage?

DAO as an organization, despite its decentralized form, still need centralized rules as basic consensus. We designed a 3-Layer-DNA structure to enable decentralized power with the centralized agreement.

• The top layer is the Application Layer, where DAO members have different authorities and interactive permissions to modify the organizational templates;
• The middle layer is the Product Layer, which consists of a series of DAO-DNA modules, such as task creation, incentive allocation, and voting modules. These modules will be integrated into SDKs and support the customization of the Application Layer.
• The bottom layer is the Technical Layer, in which computers execute the key organizational information to revise it on & off the blockchain.
• Our long-term goal is to build a truly decentralized organizational system, based on a democratic group consensus process and autonomous smart contract to execute the common agreement rules.
